So today I had to run back to an amazing opportunity to capture a nature scene after collecting my camera. It was about 8:30am in the morning when I first spotted it but took another 20mins to get back to shoot it. By this time I had lost most of the light that was illuminating the mushrooms but still had some good light to work with. I decided to use one of my new filters on this occasion as I wanted a slightly more aged look. Using a 52mm holder for my lens and a Tobacco “Gradual T1” (124) A series Cokin Filter I set up my shot to show the light shining on the edges of the mushrooms with the main filter area at the half way point.I found that due to the light changes the first picture I took came out as one of the best. If I can get back another day I may try and get some more shots with the light shining on the subjects more. Over all I’m pleased with the outcome but it needs more work and a re-visit.
